Daffodil Day 2013 at the English Market
The English Market is delighted to host Daffodil Day at the English Market again this year.
This is a picture from last year's extremely successful event when there was a coffee morning at the Farmgate Cafe, and daffodils were on sale with the fountain as the focal point, which was specially decorated for the occasion of the 25th Anniversary event for Daffodil Day.
Pictured in 2012 are Katherine Burke (Irish Cancer Society volunteer), Cllr Tony Fitzgerald (Deputy Lord Mayor), Pat O'Connell (English Market), Joanne Buckley (ARAMARK, managing agents in the English Market) and Carol Barry (Irish Cancer Society volunteer)
Daffodil Day 2012 at the English Market
The English Market supported the Irish Cancer Society's Daffodil Day on Friday 23rd March 2012.
Daffodil Day is an annual fundraising day for the Irish Cancer Society for its free nationwide care, information and support services for people with cancer and their families.
There was an eye-catching display of daffodils at the fountain in the English Market as a focal point for the fundraising effort, and the Farmgate Cafe supported the fundraising with a coffee morning in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
